Year 7 Catch-up Premium

What is it?

In 2018– 2019 the literacy and numeracy catch-up premium provided schools with an additional £500 for each year 7 student who did not achieve the expected standard in reading and/or maths at the end of Key Stage 2.

How was the money spent?

Future Plans for Academic Year 2019/2020

Any remainder of the allocation for 2018/2019 will be used on the year 7 students to support their current transition into year 8, allowing individuals to continue to access the support and provisions required at an individual level in numeracy and literacy as detailed above
