COVID -19 update

Re’ School Closure (Students and Parents/Carers)

Dear Parent/Carer,

All schools in the UK have now received notice to close due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) from Friday 20th March 2020.

We will aim to deliver the school timetable via Classcharts and/or Google Classroom. Students should log in to either of these platforms and find the work relating to the subject and lesson they are timetabled to have if they were in school. They should follow their usual timetable in this way for the duration of the closure notice.

Details on how to log in to classcharts has already been sent via group call to parents and students.

Staff will set work by uploading worksheets and powerpoints for students to complete. Staff will be able to respond to emails on their work email account only. If email addresses are not known, please email [email protected] and your message will be forwarded to relevant member of staff. The same is also true for any student concerns and wellbeing matters; please contact the relevant person in pastoral or email the aforementioned address. Staff are unable to use their personal phones and email addresses to contact students and parents/carers.

If any student forgets their passwords to online facilities or has technical difficulties in accessing the sites, such as gmail, Google Classroom, Classcharts, Mathswatch, Tassimai, please email [email protected] and a member of the IT Team will respond to you.

Students should check their school email address (for example [email protected]) and/or log into their Google Classroom app to check for any work that has been set on Google Classroom.

The school website will have update information added on a regular basis and other communication will be delivered via Group Call messages.
