PROM 2019

PROM 2019
15/07/2019 John Player

Friday, 21st June saw our Year 11 students leave The Stanway School in style at their Leavers’ Prom at Colchester United Football Club. The evening started with students arriving in a fabulous array of vehicles, which included a horse drawn carriage, an ice-cream van and even a speedboat! The students themselves looked absolutely stunning in their suits and dresses and a big thank you must go the parents and carers for their part in making it a memorable evening.
Once inside the stadium the music started and the floor was packed with students and staff throwing a few shapes on the dance floor. Photographs were taken, food was eaten and lasting memories were made and it must be said that this was by far one of the most enjoyable proms I have attended. Photographs can be downloaded on Mike Palmer’s Photography website on the Stanway Prom gallery.
Thanks once again to everyone who helped or attended on the evening, making it a night to remember and I would like to wish all Year 11 students good luck with their exam results and in their future chosen paths in further education and work.
